Shipping policy

Packaging & Shipping Methods

At Coral Prints, we prioritize the safety of your items while offering flexible shipping costs:

  • Standard Boxed Shipping: Most items are shipped in sturdy boxes with protective padding to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

  • Economy Envelope Shipping: To keep costs low for our customers, selected items are sent via regular, unregistered post in envelopes. If an item uses this method, it will be clearly stated in the product description.

Risk & Liability

Once an order is handed over to the courier, Coral Prints is not liable for parcels that are lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen. Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the buyer at the moment of dispatch.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your package the day it arrives. If the item is defective or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can assess the situation.

Important: We cannot accept claims for defective or incorrect items if they are reported after the delivery date. Items sent via envelope/unregistered post are not covered for damage or non-delivery.

Tracking & Courier Claims

For tracked shipments, any claims regarding missing or damaged goods must be filed directly with Australia Post. While we are happy to provide tracking numbers and dispatch confirmation to assist your claim, we cannot guarantee the outcome or manage the claim on your behalf.

Unregistered Post Disclaimer

Please be aware that Coral Prints takes no responsibility for items that are damaged or lost when sent via unregistered post. We offer these terms to keep our prices competitive and to prevent fraudulent claims.

  • Upgrading your shipping: We strongly recommend choosing tracked and insured boxed shipping. Many items have a separate "Boxed Postage" listing.

  • Custom Requests: If you do not see a boxed shipping option for a specific product, please message us before purchasing, and we will create a custom listing for you.

Note: Out of 10,000+ orders, only a tiny fraction of our unregistered shipments have failed to arrive, but the risk remains with the buyer.

Australia Post Service Disclosure

As per the Australian Postal Corporation Act 1989 (Section 34), Australia Post provides no compensation for loss or damage for items sent via prepaid envelope services. While they exercise due care, the nature of postal services means delivery is not guaranteed and no liability is accepted by the carrier for these specific services.
